Celebrating One Year of Dr. Homeyra's Inspiring Journey at UAP CSE

We proudly celebrate the completion of one year of service by Dr. Homeyra's as a full-time faculty member at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Asia Pacific (UAP).

An alumna of UAP, Dr. Homeyra's academic journey is a remarkable story of dedication and excellence. After completing her BSc in Engineering from UAP, she went on to pursue advanced studies in Japan, earning both her MSc and PhD in Interdisciplinary Intelligent Systems Engineering from the University of the Ryukyus as a prestigious MEXT Scholarship recipient.

After completing her doctoral studies, she chose to return to her alma mater—coming back to serve UAP, contribute to academic growth, and inspire the next generation of engineers and researchers.

Her expertise spans Microgrid Optimization, Smart Energy Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and cross-disciplinary optimization techniques. Her research focuses on developing smart, sustainable, and intelligent energy systems, integrating AI-driven and optimization-based approaches to improve efficiency and reliability in modern power and microgrid infrastructures.

Over the past year, Dr. Homeyra has been actively involved in teaching, research, and academic development, making a meaningful impact on both students and the department.
